St. Mary's Church
So much happened while we were home. well if felt like it at least. We got all those big decisions made. We decided to have the wedding reception at the 413 Wacouta club in downtown St. Paul. A restored historic building, with the space in the basement. Limestone walls, exposed pipes, pretty much a really cool space. We are still deciding between two Churches. St. Mary's is just 2 blocks from 413 on Wacouta, and the other the Fort Snelling Chapel. It is on a historic Army Fort about 15 mins from down town St. Paul. Hopefully we will make a decision on which church by the end of the week so we can book and set a date!
We also had an engagement party with our friends and family and we got this cute little sign from our friend Kate. I put it up on a shelf to be displayed as soon as we got back to New York.
I think that's all I'll tell you for now. I have to keep you guessing! I'm making a final decision on 'the dress' when I return in June, and the dress fitting for my friend went wonderful! She's flying out to me at the end of April for a final fitting before I get going on the real thing! Oh and she asked me to be her Maid of Honor!!! So any tips and ideas for me, let me know.

How exciting! I love hearing all the details. The space for your receptions sounds fantastic and I'm sure you'll choose the right church. Keep us posted!!! Oh and thank you for the birthday wishes. I'm definitely going to be doing some online shopping damage this afternoon : )
XOXO Katie
how exciting! i'm just past that stage of the planning and moving on to the smaller details, attire, food, etc. my advice - don't rush the decision about where to hold the ceremony - make sure it's a place you love. (seems obvious but it's easy to get caught up in the moment). keep us posted!!
Wow! sounds beautiful already! Can't wait to hear all the details.
Yay...MOH...that's a big deal :)
I think St. Mary's would be really neat since my grandparent's names are Paul and Mary. Coincidence? Haha.
such a tease! i can't wait to see the dress and other arrangements!
Kirby, you got SO much done! I absolutely love your reception choice. And Maid of Honor? It's like you were just crowned, don't you think?
