Okay, I have to side track today. Check out this awesome idea for a guest book. It was a collaboration between soon-to-be husband and wife, Hilary and Josh. It was a large, hand-drawn tree which guests could leave their finger print on and sign as a visual memory of the day. Not to mention what a great piece of art this would make in their new home together! They are now selling them custom made on Etsy at their shop, Blue De Toi.
I can't wait to spread the word about this. I have a friend who I think will go and order one right now!

that is genius! what a sentimental momento for them to take home, and it brings a whole new dimension to your regular old family tree drawings.
that is such a great idea! :)
lovely! these sentimental, artistic details are always my favorite--the parts of the wedding that will always be a part of your new home.
wow so beautiful...and i like the lime green ink!
My aunt is getting married in October and I'm in charge of picking out the guestbook so the more ideas the BETTER. They are quite hard to find!
I love this one:) Definitely going to bookmark on Etsy.
Kinda like Miranda on Sex and the City!
I am really torn about the guest book. I still have time to make a decision, but I really don't know if I want some wall art, like this, or if I want everyone to sign a wine cork to keep in a big jar, or if I want a book put together of our engagment photos for people to sign... oh, then there is always the photo booth guest book where your guests leave one photo strip and leave a note with it!
so many ideas. Good luck with that!
Oh, I just love Gwen! If I ever get married I want a short dress and brightly colored shoes :)
I just LOVE this beautiful guestbook!!
