I have been craving for a road trip. When I saw this little post over on the blog, Ruffled, I about fell off my chair! There are companies where you can rent VW campers from and road trip around. Wouldn't this be a great honeymoon alternative to those couples needing to save and budget? (which is most of us I'm assuming)
Actually when I was younger, I told my mom that I wanted to take a year off after high school, buy a VW van and travel around the USA.

I think it's great that so many of you love this too!! although I'm aiming for a beach get away for my honeymoon, I would love to do something like this for an anniversary!

I've seen so many VW campers since I arrived in California -- there aren't really any at all in the NYC/NJ area. Must have something to do with the weather.
i think i could live there. for good. just can't take my kids with me.
