Now that the invites are sent and we are starting to receive replies in the mail(isn't this so exciting!), I've turned my focus on the last little details and of course, sprucing up our registries. I'm not a greedy person at all, but I know this is apart of the process and having been a guest at weddings previously, it does help in the gift purchasing process. Especially if you are a young couple and have a cluster of things that you've received as hand-me-downs through out the year, this is a chance to start creating a home together. So I put together a little board highlighting some of my favorite registry items, all of which we will probably purchase if we don't receive them as gifts.
My favorites are:
Kitchenaid Blender in Red
Molcajete to make my famous guacamole!
his and hers tumblers by Kate Spade
produce bags, because we should all do our part to save our planet
Compost bin to make our garden grow
and
luggage by London Fog, because every newlywed should have a new matching set of luggage to take on their honeymoon!
Also, head over to Hey Gorgeous and a post they did on making registry gifts more personable. I found it so helpful, especially during this wedding season!

What fun picks! I especially love the his/hers tumblers. It's so fun picking out registry items, and then after the wedding opening the gifts and placing your new stuff into cupboards/drawers, etc.
Such fun picks! I'm with you on the mixer and the His and Her tumblers :) Who wouldn't love either of those gifts?! xo
Seriously, that mixer is gonna change your life!
Great picks! I am in love with my kitchen aid! Those his & hers glasses are so cute too!
We didn't get a mixer, sadly, but we didn't have space for one, either--I can't wait to buy one when we have a house! I get a serious case of greed whenever I use my mom's or mother-in-law's kitchen aid mixer. They both have it in simple white and it's perfect.
